Description
The Defense Logistics Agency, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center, is conducting market research to identify sources capable of manufacturing or supplying NSN 5895-01-731-0983, a Ku-band receiver-transmitter (part number SCOUT-81032-003, CAGE 6PH44) for the Scalable Class of Unified Terminals (SCOUT) Medium 1.3-meter satellite communication subsystem. The item must be the same as, or physically and functionally interchangeable with, the existing SCOUT system components. The Government does not possess or intend to release the technical data package, drawings, or manufacturing specifications. This is a sources-sought notice and not a request for quotation or proposal; no contract award will result directly from this announcement. Respondents must complete the attached Contractor Questionnaire and provide information about their company, capabilities, relevant past performance, engineering qualifications, test-equipment experience, obsolescence management, delivery capability, inventory, supply-chain risks, and ability to meet preferred spot-buy and fixed-quantity arrangements. Supporting documentation may include test results, a purchase order showing supply to the listed source, or a statement from the listed source demonstrating interchangeability. Responses must include company, CAGE code, and technical point-of-contact information.
