Description
The United States Navy, through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, is soliciting offers for 1/2-inch ball valve parts kits consisting of one ball and two mating seats for a critical shipboard system. The ball must conform to NAVSEA Drawing 8543662, piece 3, and use SAE-AMS-QQ-S-763 Class 304, Condition A material. The seats must conform to Drawing 7284884, piece 3, and use Nylatron GSVQ-II nylon material in accordance with MIL-DTL-32286. Government-furnished seat material will be supplied to the successful bidder. The work includes machining or other applicable fabrication, dimensional and surface inspections, chemical and mechanical material certification, intergranular corrosion and nondestructive testing as applicable, permanent traceability marking, and compliance with Special Emphasis and Level I/SUBSAFE quality requirements. The contractor must maintain an ISO 9001-compliant quality system, or an accepted alternate, and provide certificates of compliance, test results, inspection-system procedures, and other objective quality evidence. Certification data must be submitted through WAWF for review and acceptance before each shipment; no material may be shipped before acceptance. The requirement is a total small-business set-aside, is subject to Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities, will result in a bilateral award, and any resulting contract will be DX-rated for national defense. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg will consider past performance in evaluating offers.
