Description
Philadelphia Gas Works is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors to install and abandon natural gas mains, services, and appurtenances and provide related paving services for one project within Philadelphia. The procurement will result in an award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The complete package includes the RFQ cover page, special specifications, prevailing-wage requirements, operator-qualification requirements, insurance materials, and related PGW manuals and appendices. Bidders must return the required completed and signed forms and checklist materials, including the RFQ cover page, document-receipt checklist, Bid Form 1 – Price List, demographic survey, certificate of non-indebtedness, bidder’s certification, and insurance notice. A certificate of insurance copy is also identified for return with the bid. The insurance notice states that PGW, the City of Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Facilities Management Corporation must be named as additional insureds.
