The South Carolina Department of Corrections is issuing a Request for Information to identify qualified vendors capable of providing a complete end-to-end modernization and migration of the Correctional Operations Management System (COMS) from its existing mainframe environment to a fully modernized, secure, scalable, and sustainable technology platform. The agency is not seeking a partial modernization, technical assessment, proof of concept, lift-and-shift implementation, or modernization roadmap that would require subsequent phases to achieve a complete operational solution. The effort should establish a technical foundation for continued modernization and application development by the agency.
