Description
The Channahon Park District is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the R.L. Community Park Shelter. The work includes site clearing, earthwork operations, concrete paving, shelter installation, and seeding. Project manuals, including the bid form, specifications, and construction documents, are available from Accurate Reprographics for the cost of reproduction. Bidders must submit bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to 10% of the base bid, or alternatively a certified or cashier's check for the same amount. Contractors must comply with the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act and prevailing-wage requirements. The district encourages minority business firms to bid and encourages the successful contractor to use minority businesses as subcontractors.
