Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services is offering a sealed-bid, firm-fixed-price requirements-type sale contract for usable Foreign Excess Personal Property with Demilitarization Code A at DLA Disposition Services Rota, Spain. The property may include new, usable, repairable, or salvage-designated excess items, including rolling stock such as vehicles, trucks, dozers, and trailers. Items are sold as-is, where-is, without warranties, and the purchaser must accept all material tendered under the contract without culling or price renegotiation. Bidders must submit a percentage of the property's Original Acquisition Value. The estimated OAV is $2.5 million per year, or $7.5 million over the stated 36-month base period. The purchaser is responsible for inspection, customs coordination, removal, loading, material-handling equipment, applicable licenses and permits, export compliance, and approved downstream facilities. The contract includes two 12-month option periods and a possible six-month extension, with a maximum potential term of 60 months.
