Description
Mecklenburg County is soliciting sealed bids for pavement surfacing at Foxhole Landfill. The work includes milling approximately 4,300 square yards of existing asphalt at varying thicknesses and overlaying approximately 24,000 square yards of asphalt on existing roadways at varying thicknesses, along with associated speed bumps, rumble strips, and pavement markings. Bids must be submitted in two sealed envelopes and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of at least 5% of the base bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price, and must be appropriately licensed as a North Carolina general contractor.
