Description
Glen Canyon Outdoor Academy is soliciting provider bids for Category One Internet access and data transmission service with bandwidth options from 100 Mbps through 1 Gbps. Pricing is requested in increments across that range, with one-, three-, and five-year contract options; three- and five-year options must permit bandwidth upgrades during the contract term. Pricing should include recurring service, special construction, installation and activation, network equipment, software necessary to operate or maintain the network, maintenance and operations, testing and acceptance, project management, and SPI invoicing. The service handoff must connect directly to the owner's LAN. Construction may include trenching, boring, plowing, conduit, handholes, vaults, poles, fiber cable, splicing, termination, and labeling. Bidders must provide outage reporting, basic technical support without additional service fees, and a service-level agreement. The contract is contingent on E-Rate funding.
