Description
Iredell County Sheriff's Office is soliciting a complete portable, vessel-towed side-scan sonar system for underwater search, survey, mapping, inspection, and recovery applications. The system must support one-person field operation from small vessels and include a ruggedized towfish, dual-frequency transducers, tow cable, topside communications and processing equipment, acquisition and post-processing software, power and interconnection cables, and ruggedized carrying/storage cases. The specifications require operating frequencies from 150 kHz through 1,800 kHz, a minimum operating depth of 300 meters, real-time data acquisition and review, target detection and measurement, navigation display, data export, and compatibility with a Windows-based ruggedized workstation. The supplier must provide a minimum three-year limited warranty, operator training, documentation, technical support, software and driver updates, and a completed compliance matrix. Delivery of a complete operational system is required within 90 calendar days after purchase order or contract execution, followed by final acceptance testing. The bid package must include product specifications, a delivery schedule, contract-terms acceptance, similar-purchase references, the required completed forms, and pricing for one system.
