Description
The project proposes rehabilitation of Blue Mesa Road, including replacing gravel roadway with asphalt concrete pavement and rehabilitating existing asphalt near the U.S. 50 intersection. Work also includes drainage improvements and culvert replacement or lining, ditch reconditioning, rockfall mitigation, traffic-counter relocation, parking improvements with ADA stalls, and signing and striping. Optional work includes additional roadway rehabilitation and installation of six-inch electrical conduit, utility boxes, and trenching to support a future security gate connection. This is a presolicitation notice, not a request for bids; plans and specifications are not available. The estimated cost range is $2 million to $5 million. A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled, and interested attendees are asked to email the listed contact in advance.
