Description
Bucks County is soliciting a contractor to repair or replace the damaged radiator system on an existing 500 kW Cummins natural-gas generator. The work includes furnishing and installing a replacement radiator, related piping connections and controls, removal and replacement of coolant, required rigging and crane lifts, and removal of obsolete parts and materials. The contractor must retain Cummins service personnel or an approved third-party manufacturer, provide factory testing, startup by a manufacturer-authorized supplier, on-site testing, and operational testing before turnover. The project includes a one-year equipment and installation warranty, manufacturer-authorized maintenance service, required submittals and closeout documentation, and compliance with Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements. The contract has an intended six-month duration, with substantial completion required no later than 182 calendar days after commencement.
