The Defense Logistics Agency is preparing an unrestricted, competitively awarded fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract under FAR Part 15 for NSN 2945-01-050-5726, a fluid filter element supporting C/KC-135 Stratolifter aircraft. The item is currently manufactured by Pti Technologies Inc. (CAGE 05228), part number 7511213, and Textron Aviation Inc. (CAGE 7EK50), part number 50-380069-1. The requirement is identified as a critical application item, with critical-item inspection at origin for DLA direct requirements. The requested contract structure is a five-year base period with no option periods. Estimated annual demand is 2,400 units, with delivery-order quantities ranging from 600 to 2,400 units; production units are due within 275 days.
