Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is conducting market research for a competitively awarded, fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract covering NSN 1660-004212087, an air-conditioning and heating duct assembly for the C-5 Galaxy aircraft. The item is manufactured by Arrowhead Products Corp. under CAGE 70628 and part number 12991-101A. The requirement is unrestricted, with an estimated annual demand of 40 units, minimum delivery-order quantity of 10 units, and maximum delivery-order quantity of 40 units. The proposed contract has a five-year base period with no option periods. Production units must be delivered within 324 days, and shipments will go to CONUS stock locations specified on individual delivery orders. This is a critical application, source-controlled part; alternate offers will not be evaluated, and companies seeking qualification must contact the design control activity identified on the source-control drawing. The notice is not itself a solicitation, and the formal solicitation is expected to be issued on or about October 1, 2026.
