Description
Calumet City Public Library is soliciting proposals for dedicated, fully managed, symmetrical Internet access with bandwidth options of 500 Mbps, 1 Gbps, and 2 Gbps. The service must include reliable public Internet connectivity, at least one static public IPv4 address, an Ethernet handoff, 24/7 network monitoring and technical support, installation, configuration, testing, activation, and any required customer-premises equipment, licensing, maintenance, and support. Leased lit fiber or a functionally equivalent technology is preferred. Proposals must include detailed service-level commitments covering availability, latency, packet loss, jitter, mean time to repair, response times, escalation procedures, maintenance, service credits, outage reporting, customer portals, and performance reporting. Vendors must provide itemized recurring, non-recurring, special-construction, installation, configuration, shipping, tax, warranty, and licensing costs, along with eligible and ineligible cost allocations. Pricing is requested for 12-, 36-, and 60-month terms, with up to two optional one-year renewal periods. Each response must include the completed pricing worksheet and the specified applicant, vendor, SPIN, contact, terms, and pricing information; proposals must be submitted electronically to all designated contacts and remain valid for at least 180 days.
