Description
Calumet City Public Library is soliciting proposals for E-Rate-eligible Category One dedicated Internet access to support library operational, administrative, staff, cloud-based, communications, and technology functions. Patron/public Internet access is outside the scope. The required service must provide at least 100 Mbps, with pricing requested through 1 Gbps, and must be delivered to the library at 660 Manistee Avenue, Calumet City, Illinois. The proposed solution should preferably use leased lit fiber or a functionally equivalent technology and include all equipment, facilities, installation, configuration, testing, activation, licensing, maintenance, monitoring, and support needed for an operational service. Requirements include at least one static public IPv4 address, optional IPv6 capability, 24/7 network monitoring and technical support, and an enforceable SLA addressing uptime, latency, packet loss, jitter, repair and response times, escalation, maintenance, service credits, outage reporting, customer portals, and performance reporting. Vendors must provide itemized pricing, eligible/ineligible cost allocations, MRC, NRC, special construction, installation, configuration, shipping, taxes, fees, warranty, and licensing costs for 12-, 36-, and 60-month terms, with up to two optional one-year renewal periods. Proposals must include the completed pricing worksheet and the requested provider, service, compliance, and terms information.
