Description
The Texas Department of Transportation Aviation Division is soliciting sealed bids for construction improvements at Major Samuel B. Cornelius Field. The work generally consists of airfield electrical improvements, with an engineers’ estimated base bid of $1,680,462.37. The bid package must include the Bid Form, a bid bond or qualifying cashier’s, money, or teller’s check equal to 2% of the total bid, required language for Airport Improvement Program contracts, debarment and suspension certification, Buy American Certification, Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities, and applicable DBE participation documentation. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds, each for the full contract price. The DBE goal is 0%; therefore, no DBE Participation Plan is required if the contract goal is 0%.
