Description
The City of Anaheim is soliciting bids for rehabilitation of Katella Avenue from Auburn Way to Douglass Road and State College Boulevard from Katella Avenue to Gene Autry Way. The work includes removing and reconstructing asphalt pavement with rubberized asphalt concrete, cold milling, constructing asphalt and concrete improvements, reconstructing ADA access ramps, sidewalks, curb and gutter, spandrels, driveways, medians, and drainage features, and installing detectable warning devices. Additional work includes traffic control, signing and striping, traffic detection devices, utility and telecommunications pull-box and manhole adjustments or replacements, water valve box adjustments, conduit and pull-box installation, traffic signal wiring modifications, erosion and sediment control, construction signage, as-built plans, and related permitting. The estimated construction cost is $4,213,400, with a duration of 70 working days. The project is subject to prevailing-wage requirements, Department of Industrial Relations registration and monitoring, and the City's Community Workforce Agreement, including a 40% local-hire work-hour goal and required contractor and subcontractor Letters of Assent.
