Description
Avon Local School District is soliciting proposals for maintenance of its existing dark fiber network between Avon High School's Internet hub and all endpoint locations listed in the pricing attachment. Offers must cover all locations; partial bids will not be considered. Respondents may propose dark fiber, managed lit service, or both, and must include all costs associated with the requested services, the provider's terms and conditions, and completed pricing information. Services are needed effective July 1, 2027. The district will consider month-to-month or contracted services, with contracted providers requested to submit 12-month pricing. The district may voluntarily extend the agreement for two additional 12-month terms, and contracts with an initial term longer than 12 months will not be considered. Proposals must address compatibility with the existing network, past performance, E-Rate requirements including discounted SPI billing and lowest corresponding pricing, and compliance with FCC supply-chain restrictions.
