Description
NOAA requires a design-build contractor to repair and renovate the Gulf Marine Service Facility (GMSF) and wharf in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The project includes restoring the integrity of the deteriorating seawall and mooring structures, evaluating and renovating existing wharf sections for hurricane mooring, adding in-water mooring structures or dolphins, corrosion protection, utility upgrades (including electrical and emergency generator ports), and improving operational efficiency and safety. The contractor must accommodate NOAA vessels remaining moored during severe storms and coordinate with the City of Pascagoula regarding a failing seawall supporting a mooring bollard. The performance period is 730 calendar days with a budget of approximately $12.75 million.
