Description
The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is soliciting bids for concession contracts to operate guided ecotourism adventure sports and entertainment activities at Lake Guntersville State Park, Oak Mountain State Park, and Wind Creek State Park, with additional locations potentially added. The successful bidder must provide the equipment and services specified in the concession contract and will generally be responsible for facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and adjacent grounds maintenance. Bids must state the percentage of total sales and other amounts proposed for payment to the department; a minimum bid of 10% of gross receipts is required. Each bid must include a detailed description of the proposed equipment and services, proof of at least five years of actual experience operating similar facilities, and a complete financial statement. The anticipated contract term is two years, with opportunities for renewal. The successful bidder must later provide a performance bond or letter of credit, insurance, and other contract-execution documents.
