Description
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Small Business Development Center is seeking qualified consultants to provide general financial consulting to small-business clients, primarily in Eau Claire, Chippewa, Barron, Rusk, and Taylor counties. Services include advising businesses on financial matters, reviewing financial projections, supporting capital formation, mentoring student consultants, attending weekly client-progress meetings, and responding to client inquiries within two business days. The contractor must provide at least three years of relevant experience, be physically located within 60 miles of Eau Claire, demonstrate small-business and higher-education experience, and be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and the SBDC's Zoho customer-management system. The work includes in-person service at UW-Eau Claire and UW-Eau Claire–Barron County offices and occasional client-site visits, with virtual service elsewhere in Wisconsin. Required deliverables include annual performance metrics, weekly engagement reporting, financial-projection PDFs, and project-outcome communications. Bidders must submit a completed Qualification Summary, work plan, and Cost Sheet; the contract is for one year with four additional one-year renewal terms.
