Description
The State of Alabama is soliciting a contractor for a one-year maintenance agreement for the Trane Tracer building automation system at the Attorney General Building. The scope includes maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs within the agreement, current software and security upgrades, humidity sensor element replacements as specified, and support for maintaining temperature, humidity, and air quality controls. Replacement parts are generally excluded unless specifically covered, and all other work requires prior approval. The contractor must provide at least two technicians with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, factory training and certification for Trane Tracer controls, and documented Trane OEM installation and commissioning training. The contractor must support on-site operator training and provide Trane OEM training at the local Trane office. Emergency coverage must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with an office within 50 miles of the facility and a technician able to arrive within one hour of a call. Pricing is invoiced quarterly in arrears, with the total annual maintenance cost entered on the proposal form and no charge entered for miscellaneous repairs outside the agreement.
