Description
The U.S. Army is soliciting highly capable prime contractors to procure and deliver a diverse portfolio of non-standard ammunition and select non-standard weapon systems, including foreign-produced munitions and weapons compatible with applicable system specifications. The requirement supports U.S. government agencies, foreign governments, and international organizations. Contractors will be evaluated on relevant technical experience, quality-control capabilities, visual and physical inspection processes, and ballistic testing needed to provide safe and reliable materiel. The government anticipates awarding up to five firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts. Each award includes an initial $1,000 delivery order for a Contract Data Requirements List deliverable; the government may order up to 3,552,685,000 items over five one-year ordering periods. Future delivery orders will be competed using either lowest-price technically acceptable or best-value tradeoff procedures.
