Description
Allegany County is soliciting sealed bids for a single prime contract to replace the CR49 bridge over Caneadea Creek (BIN 3330480). The work includes a new single-span steel multi-girder superstructure, composite concrete deck, integral abutments, and pile-supported foundations. The base bid requires metalizing the structural steel, with an alternate for shop painting if specified budget and pricing conditions are met. Bids must include the required bid security and comply with New York labor-law requirements, including submission of a Certificate of Registration. The awarded contractor and subcontractors must use EBO software for civil-rights monitoring and subcontractor-payment reporting; the successful bidder and subcontractors must also have an approved CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT before award. No DBE, MWBE, or SDVOB contracting goals apply, and no residential or geographic restrictions are in effect. Prospective bidders must purchase the electronic bid set through the designated planroom to be recognized as qualified planholders and to receive official addenda and bidding documents.
