The Virginia Department of Energy (Virginia Energy) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather market intelligence on organizations experienced in interconnecting solar facilities on public bodies within Virginia. This RFI is for planning purposes and does not represent a commitment to a future solicitation or contract. Virginia Energy is exploring the possibility of a future competitive grant program to assist public bodies with the costs of solar facility interconnections. Responses received will help inform Virginia Energy's planning, program design, and the potential development of such a grant program.
