Description
The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to design and install a complete off-grid photovoltaic (PV) solar power system with battery storage for the Outworks Restroom, a designated historic structure located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The system must provide approximately 50 amps of electrical service and support restroom operations for a minimum of eight hours per day. All work must comply with historic preservation standards, minimizing visibility and preserving historic materials. The contractor will be responsible for site assessment, engineering, design, permitting, material procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, training, and providing a one-year workmanship warranty. The period of performance is 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
