Description
This Sources Sought notice requests information from qualified sources capable of overhauling CH-47 Chinook controllable swashplates, NSN 1615-01-395-0006, part number 145R3551-17. The estimated quantity is 10 to 168 units, including 28 units for Foreign Military Sales. The overhaul must restore unserviceable assets to like-new, fully serviceable, and airworthy condition in accordance with Government specifications in Depot Maintenance Work Requirement 55-1615-297, Revision dated March 30, 2012, Change 1. The anticipated acquisition is a five-year, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. Because the item is classified as a Critical Safety Item, only vendors approved by the System Readiness Directorate are currently qualified; the notice identifies Overhaul Support Services LLC, Airtronics Inc., and The Boeing Company as approved vendors. Interested parties must provide company information, business size and socioeconomic status, and detailed points-of-contact information. Contractors may pursue Source Approval Request procedures to become an approved source. This notice is for market research only and is not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract.
