Description
The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) requires dual temperature spot display merchandisers. These units are intended for use in DeCA stores across CONUS, Alaska, Hawaii, and OCONUS locations, including the Far East and Puerto Rico. The equipment must be capable of displaying both refrigerated and frozen products. Key specifications include dimensions of 40-48 inches long/wide, 27-36 inches deep, and 30-38 inches high. The merchandisers must be upright floor models with thermostat-controlled dual temperature capabilities, ranging from 0 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit or greater. They should feature self-contained evaporator pans, swivel casters, glass lids, and a minimum capacity of 11.1 cubic feet. The units must be UL listed and NSF certified, or equivalent, and conform to EPA's Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) using acceptable refrigerants like R290, R744, or R600a. The standard electrical specifications are 115 volts, 60 Hertz, single phase, with a minimum 6-foot cord and a NEMA standard plug. The required color options are black or white. A one-year warranty against defective material and workmanship, including parts, service, and labor, is required. The equipment must be shipped ready to plug in and use.
