Description
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are seeking sources for aircraft modification services, known as "missionization," to install the USCG-developed and government-owned Minotaur Mission System Suite (MSS+) on new production C-130J aircraft. The effort may also include prototype and integration of new capabilities and/or solutions addressing diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS). The base requirement covers three USCG and one CBP aircraft, with options for additional aircraft. The period of performance is estimated from mid-2028 to 2038, with missionization expected to commence in FY30. The contractor will be responsible for installation, testing, and configuration management of the MSS+ and optional NextGen COMSATCOM system.
