Description
The Board of Commissioners of Charles County is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to provide architectural, engineering, and site development design services for a new Department of Public Works Utilities Waldorf Regional Facility. The work includes preparing contract drawings and specifications, obtaining applicable permits, and designing site development and construction improvements for an approximately 63,000-square-foot facility on a 10-acre site. The project will partially remove an existing warehouse and replace the removed section with a prefabricated metal building integrated into the remaining structure, while renovating the existing building portion. The completed facility will be a modern, multi-use operational and office complex, primarily serving DPW Utilities while also accommodating other County departments and divisions. Planned campus improvements include parking, a fueling station, a salt barn, gravel storage, and other structures.
