Description
The City of Pontotoc is soliciting sealed or electronic bids for construction of the McCord Road waterline installation and related appurtenances in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Bids must be marked "Bid for: MCCORD ROAD WATERLINE for The City of Pontotoc." Bids exceeding $50,000 must include the contractor’s current certificate of responsibility number, or a statement on the envelope that the bid does not exceed $50,000. Each bid must include a satisfactory bid bond, certified check, or bank draft equal to five percent of the total bid. Minority- and women-owned businesses are solicited as prime contractors and encouraged to inquire about subcontracting opportunities, equipment, materials, and supplies. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review of bids and bidder qualifications.
