Description
St. Lawrence Catholic School seeks symmetrical Internet access and data transmission services with guaranteed throughput, scalable from approximately 1 Gbps to 5 Gbps. The service must include five approximately public IPv4 addresses, optional pricing for additional IPv4 and technically equivalent IPv6 addresses, and provider-owned onsite equipment needed to hand off service to the school’s head-end equipment; a fiber handoff is preferred. Respondents must describe the service pathway, including any third-party leased lines, and provide separate recurring, nonrecurring, installation, and special-construction pricing where applicable. The proposal must include a Service Level Agreement covering service descriptions and measurement, a target of 99.99% network availability for each circuit, frame or packet loss, latency, jitter, 24x7x365 trouble reporting, outage repair commitments, chronic-trouble remedies, and monthly and annual service reports. The minimum stated commitment is two-hour diagnosis and four-hour temporary or permanent repair. The response must also include detailed service and construction information, complete tiered pricing, three similar-service references with contact information, the provider’s E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract incorporating the stated E-Rate contingencies. The anticipated contract is for three years with voluntary extensions, subject to successful E-Rate funding, and proposals must separate eligible and ineligible services by line item.
