ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Emmet County Road Commission will receive bids until 9:00 A.M., November 9, 2026, for the following equipment: • (2) SINGLE AXLE AND (3) TANDEM AXLE TRUCKS Specifications and plans for the project may be obtained on the Road Commission website at www.emmetcrc.org or the office at 2265 E. Hathaway Road, Harbor Springs, MI 49740. The Road Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bids. The Emmet County Road Commission is seeking two current-model-year single-axle cab-and-chassis trucks and three current-model-year tandem-axle cab-and-chassis trucks for heavy-duty road maintenance. The trucks will be equipped for underbody scraping, material spreading with onboard pre-wet capability, front snowplowing, side-mounted snow-wing operations, and trailer use. The specifications establish detailed minimum requirements for chassis, engines, transmissions, axles, suspensions, tires, brakes, steering, electrical systems, cabs, fuel tanks, running boards, paint, and supporting documentation. Pricing must include the manufacturer's standard warranty; extended warranty and towing/roadside service are optional line items. Bidders must complete the provided truck bid sheet, identify any unmet specifications, state discounts and payment terms, provide expected delivery, and submit the completed specifications as required.
