Description
The U.S. Army requires a firm-fixed-price, all-or-none offer for optical fabrication equipment, consumables, installation, training, and travel. The equipment package includes Alloy Replacement Technology Blocker-M and Deblocker-M systems with peripherals, a Multi-FLEX-M polisher and peripherals, associated pumps, chillers, databases, computers, block identifiers, centering equipment, trays, adhesive, premium blocks, carts, and adjustment kits. The contractor must provide qualified technicians certified by the equipment manufacturer to install the equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions, applicable electrical and plumbing codes, OSHA requirements, and industry standards. The scope includes four training days, standard installation, travel, operator training, two sets of operator manuals, and written verification that the equipment is ready for normal operation. Installation and training are to be completed at the optical fabrication laboratory, with delivery and performance required by September 30, 2026. The award will use a lowest-price technically acceptable evaluation and is subject to the stated small-business set-aside and limitations on subcontracting.
