Description
Carmel Clay Schools is soliciting Internet access and data transmission services for delivery to its Education Service Center. The required service is symmetrical bandwidth of approximately 2 Gbps, scalable to approximately 10 Gbps, with guaranteed throughput and a fiber handoff. The provider must include any necessary provider-owned onsite equipment and describe the proposed handoff. Proposals may also include optional resiliency, cloud-based firewall, DNS management, and DDoS protection features. The requested contract is a three-year term with up to two optional one-year extensions, contingent on E-Rate funding. Bidders must provide laddered pricing in approximately 1 Gbps increments, separate recurring and nonrecurring costs, any installation or special-construction costs, and a proposed SLA. The SLA must address 99.99% monthly availability, performance metrics, 24x7x365 support, a maximum two-hour diagnosis window, four-hour mean time to repair, chronic-failure remedies, reporting, maintenance, and billing credits. Responses must include a detailed service description and delivery timeline, pricing, the proposed SLA, three similar-service references, the provider's E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract. No equipment from companies designated as national-security risks under FCC Order 19-121 may be included.
