Description
The New York State Department of Health, Division of Family Health, Bureau of Perinatal, Reproductive and Sexual Health, is seeking an organization to establish and operate the New York State Resource Center for Hospital Sexual Violence Services. The Resource Center will support hospitals statewide in developing sustainable capacity to provide high-quality, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, patient-centered medical and forensic care to survivors of sexual violence of all ages. The scope includes developing, implementing, and evaluating a statewide training and technical-assistance plan; improving hospital access to Department-certified Sexual Assault Forensic Examiners; and strengthening collaboration and resource sharing across New York State. Funding is $1,000,000 annually for five years. Applications must be submitted through the Statewide Financial System and by email with all required information.
