Description
This Sources Sought/RFI is market research for a potential Integrated Resource Service Contract; it is not a solicitation or commitment to award. The anticipated work covers 205 acres in three treatment units and requires cut-to-length harvesting, including cutting and processing trees and forwarding biomass to landings or piles. Work also includes mechanical mastication of dead and down material, slash and brush; removal of biomass and cull logs from landings; construction and decommissioning of temporary roads; and road maintenance and erosion control. Hand thinning and hand fuel treatment are identified as optional work. Interested vendors are asked to provide a capability statement describing company information and business status, relevant cut-to-length logging and hazardous-fuel-reduction experience, key personnel and crew qualifications, equipment and mobilization capabilities, and past-performance references. The draft schedule estimates 2,603 tons of biomass removal and lists 177 acres each for optional hand thinning and hand fuel treatment.
