Description
BC Timber Sales is offering Timber Sale Licence TA2084 for approximately 38,487 m³ of standing coniferous timber across an estimated 53.4 hectares. The estimated net cruise volume is 37,756 m³, comprising western red cedar, Douglas fir, spruce, hemlock, balsam, white pine, and larch. The sale is bonus-bid and scale-based, with an upset stumpage rate of $41.99 per cubic metre. Applicants are strongly advised to review the licence area and verify the volume and grade estimates in the field. The successful licensee will be responsible for harvesting and related forest operations, including road construction, maintenance, deactivation, and rehabilitation as specified in the package. The licence term is 26 months. The licensee must comply with the applicable environmental management, forest stewardship, safety, and value-added performance requirements. Only individuals or corporations registered as BC timber sales enterprises in Category 4 – Value-added may apply.
