Description
Waukesha County is seeking an engineering/design consulting firm for the facility development process for a High Risk Rural Road project on County Trunk Highway Z between the Jefferson County line and Scuppernong Creek Bridge in the Town of Ottawa. The scope includes project management; surveys; geotechnical and subsurface investigations; environmental review and documentation; public involvement; utility and agency coordination; preliminary, final, and structure plans; transportation project plats and acquisition materials; traffic analysis; construction special provisions; and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) documents. The project includes roadway improvements such as vegetation removal within a clear zone, asphalt milling and repaving, centerline rumble strips, high-visibility edge-line markings, signing improvements, and related design work. Responses will be evaluated under a quality-based selection process, with cost excluded from scoring; fees will be negotiated with the selected consultant. The contract will continue through completion of bidding, with deliverables scheduled from March 2027 through April 2029.
