Description
The California Department of Food and Agriculture is soliciting bids for the fabrication and/or purchase, delivery, and installation of three new 12-by-60-foot modular office trailers and six new portable stairs at its Los Alamitos field office. The trailers must include specified HVAC, windows, doors, lighting, electrical systems, finishes, and layouts, including two open-plan trailers and one trailer with two private offices. The work also includes sixty adjustable steel foundation piers with locking tie-downs, sixty ABS foundation pads, pressure-treated Douglas fir leveling lumber, transportation, permits, cleanup, and all labor, materials, tools, and equipment. Trailers must be positioned on the existing asphalt pad, and delivery and installation must be completed within 60 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must hold a California C-47 General Manufactured Housing contractor's license and comply with public-works, prevailing-wage, insurance, bonding, and DVBE requirements. The contract is federally funded and requires an active SAM registration and UEI.
