Description
The Atlantic County Utilities Authority seeks a contractor for the Atlantic City Flow Meter Replacement Project at its City Island Treatment Plant. The work includes installing a permanent bypass assembly with ductile-iron piping, valves, fittings, helical piles, pile caps, pipe cradles, and straps; installing and maintaining an approximately 230-linear-foot temporary sewer bypass; replacing the owner-provided flow meter and contractor-provided 30-inch knife gate valve; removing the temporary bypass; and restoring the site and headworks building. The contractor must coordinate bypass operations with ACUA and Atlantic City Sewerage Company, maintain continuous facility operations, perform pressure and leakage testing, provide qualified personnel and emergency response coverage, comply with confined-space, OSHA, prevailing-wage, public-works registration, and New Jersey requirements, and complete the work within 90 successive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. A bid guarantee of 10% of the total bid, capped at $20,000, is required. The submission also requires a DocuSign bid-form package, bid bond and consent of surety, payment/performance-bond consent, insurance documentation, New Jersey business registration, public-works registration, and equal-employment-opportunity/affirmative-action evidence.
