Description
The Township of Washington, Gloucester County, New Jersey is soliciting sealed bids for the "2024 CDBG White Birch Road Phase III" project. This project involves the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary for the construction of White Birch Road. Specifications and bid forms are available from Pennoni Associates, Inc., the Municipal Engineer, via email. Bidders are required to submit one original and one copy of their proposal in a sealed envelope, along with a bid guarantee of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount (not to exceed $20,000.00) in the form of a Certified Check, Bid Bond, or Cashier's Check payable to Washington Township. An executed consent from an approved surety company is also required. Bidders must comply with New Jersey state laws regarding Affirmative Action, Business Registration, and Public Works Contractor Registration. This project is financed through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to Federal Labor Standards Provisions (Davis Bacon wage laws) and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Minority-owned and women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids, as are Section 3 businesses.
