Description
The Beech Island Rural Community Water and Sewer District is soliciting bids for one general contract to furnish all materials, equipment, and labor for construction along Beech Island Avenue. The project includes approximately 11,700 linear feet of 12-inch water line replacement, installation of valves, hydrants, and related appurtenances, and abandonment of the existing water lines. The work must be completed within 270 consecutive calendar days, including punch-list items. The project is proposed to be funded through a State Revolving Fund loan and is subject to applicable State Revolving Fund, Davis-Bacon Wage Determination, and American Iron and Steel requirements. Bidders must hold a South Carolina Contractors WL4 or higher license. A bid bond of at least 5% of the lump-sum bid is required, and the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract amount.
