The County of Kane 260046Z Elgin Satellite Office Renovation SECTION 001100 – NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that The County of Kane is accepting sealed bids #26-047-TK for the Elgin Satel- lite Office Renovation project located at 2170 Pointe Blvd., Elgin, IL 60123. Description
Kane County is soliciting sealed bids for 14 construction bid packages for renovation of its Elgin Satellite Office. The packages cover selective demolition; concrete; general trades and carpentry; millwork, casework, and countertops; flooring and tiling; painting and wall covering; fire suppression; plumbing; mechanical; electrical; roofing; low-voltage and technology; acoustical ceilings; and aluminum storefronts and glazing. Pre-qualification is required before bidding, including submission of one fully executed AIA Document A305, Contractor’s Qualification Statement. Bids must include bid security of at least 10% of the base bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and labor and material payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the bid, after award. The project is subject to applicable public-works requirements, including Illinois prevailing-wage requirements.
