Description
The Executive Office of Housing & Livable Communities is seeking responses for prequalification of designees for the purchase of publicly-assisted affordable housing, pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 40T. The purpose is to create a pool of entities qualified to act as designees in the event that the agency desires to make an offer or respond to a right of refusal. Designees must have experience in negotiating for and acquiring existing publicly-assisted housing, overseeing and managing the rehabilitation of occupied multi-family housing, and structuring complex real estate financing transactions. They must also demonstrate a commitment to preserving affordable housing and full participation of minority- and women-owned business enterprises.
