Description
The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) is seeking quotations for reagents to support food and water testing for Salmonella species. The specific item requested is 100 pieces of Salmonella Agglutinating Serum (Salmonella O Poly (GpA - G) 2ml/vial). This procurement is intended to enable the Central Laboratory to fully operationalize the resumption of food and water testing for foodborne pathogens, including Salmonella species, to support the detection of and response to foodborne disease outbreaks. Quotations are due by July 9, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. PAHO is not obligated to accept any quotation and will not be responsible for any costs incurred by suppliers in preparing and submitting a quotation. The contract will be subject to PAHO's General Terms and Conditions for Goods and Services, which include provisions on packaging, export licensing, delivery, inspection, acceptance, warranties, intellectual property, indemnification, and payment terms. Payment is expected within 30 days of the consignee's receipt of all goods and the supplier's invoice. The supplier must also comply with the United Nations Supplier Code of Conduct.
