Description
The City of Beaumont is soliciting bids for construction of three automatic sampling flushing stations. The work includes three short-side water service connections; 142 linear feet of 6-inch PVC drain line; three cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs; installation of three city-purchased automatic flushing sampling stations; 80 square yards of 6-inch reinforced concrete erosion-protection structures; electrical service from the main power feed to the stations; traffic control as necessary; testing, manufacturer witness testing, and certification. The bid also includes mobilization, a reimbursable $10,000 allowance for electrical service costs, and payment and performance bonds and insurance. The contractor must complete the work within 90 calendar days, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., unless otherwise approved in writing. Bidders must review and acknowledge the contract documents, plan sheets, and Addendum No. 1 in the online bid attributes. The mandatory pre-bid conference is a prerequisite to bidding. Required submission items include the bid, bid schedule, bid summary, corporate resolution, bid bond, bidder information, conflict-of-interest materials, insurance affidavit, MBE participation schedule, Texas Ethics Commission certificate number acknowledgment, HB89 verification, and applicable local-bidder documentation.
