Description
The University of Waterloo is seeking one supplier to provide a 3D Scanning Laser Vibrometer system, including three scanning Laser Doppler Vibrometer heads, geometry measurement capabilities, reference analog inputs, digital-to-analog outputs, measurement and analysis software, accessories, and all required components. The system will support three-dimensional vibration measurement and modeling of manufacturing equipment, including machine tools and robots, as well as automotive and biomechanics research. Proposals should address technical performance, software, data export, laser and safety specifications, reliability, maintenance, calibration, and compatibility with external computing systems. The scope includes delivery to the University of Waterloo, installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, end-user training, ongoing technical support, warranty coverage of at least two years, and optional extended service and support. New equipment is preferred, although certified like-new demonstration, pre-owned, refurbished, or remanufactured equipment may be proposed as an alternative. The budget is capped at CAD $440,000, excluding HST and including any optional CFI in-kind contribution. Respondents must provide technical compliance information, company experience and at least five client references, warranty and support documentation, a completed Form of Declaration, a detailed quotation, and a completed CFI Bid Form. The estimated contract period is 60 months.
