Description
The Town of Star City is soliciting bids for the University Avenue Sidewalk Replacement project. The work includes removing and installing approximately 1,300 square yards of concrete sidewalks, 2,300 linear feet of concrete curbs, 25 decorative streetlights, conduit, and other miscellaneous items. The work must be substantially completed within 120 calendar days after the contract times commence and completed and ready for final payment within 150 days. Bids require a certified check or bid bond payable to the Town of Star City in an amount equal to 5% of the base bid. A West Virginia contractor's license and Drug Free Workplace Certification are required. The solicitation uses a two-envelope submission system, with bid-opening compliance documents in Envelope No. 1 and the bid proposal in Envelope No. 2.
