Description
Beech Island Rural Community Water and Sewer District is soliciting one general contractor to furnish all materials, equipment, and labor for approximately 11,700 linear feet of 12-inch water line replacement. The work includes installing valves, hydrants, and related appurtenances, as well as abandoning the existing water lines. The project has a 270-consecutive-calendar-day completion period, including punch-list items. Bidders must hold a South Carolina Contractors WL4 or higher license. The project is proposed for funding through a State Revolving Fund loan, and applicable State Revolving Fund, Davis-Bacon wage determination, and American Iron and Steel requirements apply. A bid bond of at least 5% of the lump-sum bid is required; performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, are required if awarded.
